Coated Calcium Carbonate (Stearate Treated)
Our coated calcium carbonate is surface-treated with stearic acid to deliver superior compatibility with polymer matrices, enhanced dispersion, and improved mechanical properties — making it the ideal filler for PVC, cables, masterbatch, and rubber applications.
Micron Plus coated calcium carbonate is manufactured by applying a precise layer of stearic acid onto the surface of our high-quality natural GCC particles. This surface modification transforms the naturally hydrophilic calcium carbonate into a hydrophobic filler that bonds effectively with organic polymer matrices.
The stearate coating dramatically improves filler-polymer interaction, resulting in better dispersion, reduced moisture absorption, enhanced flow properties during processing, and superior mechanical performance in the final product. Our coated grades are specifically designed for the demanding requirements of the plastics and rubber industries.
